Have heard some good things about this lubricant on handguns.  Anyone try this stuff on AR bcg's, locking lugs etc??  Thanks

I used Slide-Glide on some guns, including an AR. Weather turned cold (40-50 F) and they quit running. If you want to use Slide Glide, it must be changed to suit the weather. Its fans know this and change to the lite version or mix in a little oil when the weather cools off.  I would rather use the same regimen and not have to worry whether the temp is starting out in the 40's on match day.

Thanks all.  I guess I will stay with TW 25 for now.

I've got Slide-Glide lite and "normal" and I use them  all the time on both handguns and my rifles. They work great. The only issue I have with using Slide-Glide in an AR is that it's not so good in the BCG. If you're gonna use it inside the BCG you should probably always use the lite viscosity.

I use it on the BC rails and on the bolt locking lugs as well as a light application on the gas rings.  Makes the good ole AR run smooth as butter, never had a problem at all.  But i do live in south florida where the coldest i've run my rifle was 35 degrees FWIW  YMMV

If you are already using the TW25B and the lighter weight MC2500 you are using one of the best lubricants on the market, why change?
