I'm not sure this is the right place, but I couldn't think of any better place to post this.

Has anyone heard of some sort of "quick access" storage for an AR?  I'd like to be able to keep an AR in a closet or something similar, in a locked fashion, that I can quickly access it.

Everyone's seen those biometric safes, where either a thumb print or a quick combination done can be entered and the door flies open.

Anyone seen something like this in the size for an AR?  Preferably something wall mountable or along those lines?

a coworker of mine has a rack above his closet door, on the inside.  he uses the "out of sight our of mind" thought process as opposed to actually locking it.

This?

I like how it's only 6" deep.

That's the one. I built a shelf for it near the top that holds some spare rounds. I keep an AR and my Benelli M4 in it and keep two spare AR mags and a box of 00 buck

False bottom shelf.
Pull-out panel in wall.
Above the door inside a closet.
Under your mattress.
Under the sofa.
Behind any piece of furniture that covers it.
Above a drop ceiling.
Next to the window, behind the drapes.
Inside a grandfather clock.
