I need a tool box or something similar to store all my cleaning gear in. Trying to devise a "base kit", but I can't find a tackle box big enough to accomodate all my stuff.
What are you guys using? Pics would be good. |
| It was either Cheaper Than Dirt or Sportsman guide that has a nice oak cabinet box, sort of like a tackle box, and it is felt lined. The prices are really cheap for what you are getting. I am going to order one soon for all my gun cleaning stuff, spare bolts, grips, BCG's , and other stuff. |

I use a decent size tool box I found at Home Depot––I don't remember the price, but I doubt it cost more than $20. It features a large compartment in the bottom, a top lift-out tray, and flip-open small compartments in the lid.
My tool box functions as a cleaning kit, tool kit, and range box. I have all of my cleaning supplies (rods, brushes, swabs, lubes, Q-tips, etc.), all of my tools (stock wrench, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.), and range supplies like a stapler/staples, target pasters, spare earplugs, and sight tools. It's bulky to lug around, but I always have plenty of gear for those having problems or needing to do some impromptu cleaning or mods. |
