They suck. I didn't even get 1 pull through with a .22/.223 Viper. The pull cord has been shrunk down to floss and snapped right off.
I'll stick with my old version BoreSnake for quick cleans and my carbon fiber rod for thorough cleaning.

Bore Snakes have always sucked. Nothing cleans nearly as well as a Rod, Jags, brushes and patches.

I wondered if the vipers were worth the extra money, might look into them as i replace the regular ones.

weird.. mine is pretty tough. i only use it for a lazy cleaning but it does the job. it can be hard to pull through but nothing a little slip 725 or ewl doesn't fix
