[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gas Key Issue

I have a carrier that is from a J&T kit that I built several years ago. The rifle has be stored and never fired. Now that I have time to shoot again, I inspected the carrier and noticed that the bolts on the gas key are not staked.
How can I correctly do this myself. I know there is a tool that can be purchased to do the job.
However I don't want to spend that much just to do one key. Would appreciate some advice.

Brownell's has a staking tool...seems a bit of overkill.

I was thinking about getting one but since I'm going piston...

a simple chisel will work.
