Thanks for sharing your information. It sounds like ultrasonic cleaning is a good idea, providing we pay attention to it's limitations. I've got Simple Green already, so I won't spend my money on any special special chemicals yet. Also, being a CLP fan, I will soak my parts in CLP before reassembling my firearms.

Simple green and Al do not get along.  If your going to use Simple green, Rinse very very well.
