I use brownells offset front receiver pins to attach my commercial upper to my sp1 lower, but the pins always loose the securing nut. I have used locktite, and have even 'burred' the threads and peened the shaft, but I loose the nut at the range occasionally. Always at the wrong moment. Anyone have a better idea? I wanted to epoxy them, but then it would be almost impossible to take the upper off. Nylon thread tape? Maybe I just need to epoxy it and shear it off whever I need to remove the upper, but at 12 bucks a pop, I hate to do that.
