does anyone use this stuff on their AR? how does it work? is it bad for the rifles barrel or does it just clean it? is it possible to get a barrel perfectly, or at least REALLY clean, or does a little residue not even matter?

the reason i am asking this is because i am currently using an Otis cleaning kit, and i just cant seem to get the barrel perfectly clean. granted i do use some dirty ass ammo (wolf, monarch), but still. does leaving a barrel with wolf/monarch residue left in it for a month or so damage the barrel at all? i do a good cleaning of the rifle after every range trip, so i am asking this question out of curiosity.

Thanks,
T_A

You'll never get the barrel perfectly clean, and you shouldn't try. Clean enough is good enough.

The foaming cleaners works well, I don't use them much because they're expensive. I just use a good solvent, then a quality oil for protecting the bore during storage.
