[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bore Brush threads

Was delighted to finally find some bronze core bore brushes at fun show yesterday. threads appeared to be same as standard brushes but wont thread onto rod, held the threads of standard brush against the new one appears to be slightly finer thread pitch on new ones. anybody know of adapters that will mate up with standard rod? Thanks

Sounds like you purchased mil-spec bore brushes. To use them on a standard civilian cleaning rod you’ll need an adapter. Check the Brownells web site. They have what you need.
