No, no CLP necessary for aluminum, it is actually COUNTER PRODUCTIVE as the oily film on aluminum will only allow sand, dirt, etc to collect ON the oily surfaces thus making cleaning a greater chore.
You're good to go. I have several stripped lowers that have been sitting in my safe now for several years untouched, no worries. |
