Like the title says I am looking to build my own bore guide. I do not feel like dropping $20-$30 on a piece of hollow plastic that seems pretty easy to make myself.
So has anyone hear built their own bore guide? If so how did you do it?

I've not tried it, so this is just an idea.
Drill out a fired case to fit your rod and then solder some brass tubing to the rim. It would need to have something to support it in the upper receiver too.
