I know it's been discussed before but I did a search and didn't find anything. I know a lot of people use non chlorinated brake cleaner on guns but how does this work on polymer gun parts or plastic? Anyone have any ruined gun parts? I know that Gun Scrubber makes a special cleaner for this but its so expensive.

| Not real good for plastic. It'll cut that dripped on camo right off a gun in no time. Bad thing is that by the time you realize it's not good for a certain plastic part, the part's damaged. It's great stuff for blowing crud off of and out of metal parts. Oh yea, it'll eat wood finishes too. Just be careful. Good luck. |
