| I was wondering if graphite would work as a lubricant in an AR. I use it in my bolt guns because it doesn't gum up in cold ?weather, but I have never heard of it being used in an AR. Maybe too much heat? The question just kind of struck me since I am working on my first build, but I assume there is some reason not to since I have never read anything aboutit on here. |

Graphite is not a recommended AR15/M16 lube. It doesn’t play well with aluminum, and can lead to corrosion. |
