[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FF Handguard removal

Hey all, I have a new to me Mk12 clone, and I am wondering what all I need to remove the FF handguard to remove some krylon from the barrel and refinish. Is it hard, and if so, what tools would I need if I wanted to do it myself?
