Thanks for the moderators for the great forum and posts. This is my first post. I have been reading this forum for about a year now and after reading the below posts I am pumped up on my first build. I have bought a lower from Spikes and a 2 stage trigger lower receiver kit from RRA. I live in CT where we still live in the post-ban world. I would like to built and AR with a 20' inch barrel on a M$ upper AND I want to keep the threaded barrel if possible with a recoil reducer. I guess that means I must give up the hand grip and the folding stock. I would like suggestions on components for this build that would not land me in jail I want to stay away from Bushmaster and Colt uppers since they are banned by name.
