I was cleaning my AR(RRA 24"Varmint)and using Outers Foaming bore cleaner for the first time. As I was spraying it down the bore I noticed it was coming out the gas tube in the receiver.
Is this going to hurt anything? I have a can of compressed air I could blow it out with, but nothing to get in there to wipe it out.
Outers says it uses no harsh chemicals or ammonia.
It also says Extremely Flammable and I plan on shooting it this weekend, don't want a big fireball in the receiver
Thanks.

blow it out call it good, just run a couple of dry patches through afterword. i wouldnt worry about any fireballs unless you clean it with gasoline

I forgot I had some Rem Action Cleaner. Put the little plastic tube on and sprayed it down the gas tube. Should be good to go now

There is a fireball in there every time you pull the trigger.........you have no problems unless you pour gas in it  while firing...

This happens to me when I use foaming bore cleaner, too.  I rest the gun on the muzzle in an upright position for about an hour to have anything in there drain out. Of course this is after I leave it horizontal to get the barrel all nice and clean. Then I give it a couple good squirts of brake cleaner and let it rest again on its muzzle for 30 min or so.  2 dry patches through the bore and then a pet patch of CLP or your favorite lube and you're all set.
