| bought some last night at wal-mart a 4 oz spray can i heard alot of you guys use this, my question is do i need additional lube or just this clp? if so what lube thanks... |

Just CLP works well. Some people use Breakfree LP on the bolt/carrier, but LP scored worse on the 4-ball wear test than CLP, so I stick with CLP. You can use a grease on the cam-pin if you want, but it isn't necessary and I steer away from grease on anything but a range-toy AR, where I apply liberally on the buffer spring to silence the boiiinnnggg. Slip 2000 and LaRue MG lube work very well on the bolt/carrier as well, if you are so inclined. |
I HATE THE CAN TYPE ( but it works the same) I drove to wallyworld the other day thats all they had I miss my GUN SHOP |
| I use the aresol can for cleaning. I use the bottle CLP or LP for lubing. It's thicker and stays in place better IMO . But nothing wrong with the CLP in the aresol can using as a lube. I just preferr the thick style . I use nothing but Breakfree for the last 22 years . Good stuff and does the intended job . WarDawg |
