Just CLP works well. Some people use Breakfree LP on the bolt/carrier, but LP scored worse on the 4-ball wear test than CLP, so I stick with CLP.

You can use a grease on the cam-pin if you want, but it isn't necessary and I steer away from grease on anything but a range-toy AR, where I apply liberally on the buffer spring to silence the boiiinnnggg.

Slip 2000 and LaRue MG lube work very well on the bolt/carrier as well, if you are so inclined.

I just use the CLP by itself, and I've never had a problem.

I've been using CLP almost exclusively and lubriplate on rifle bolt locking lugs (won't dry up or get blown off).

CLP is all you need for gen use,
copper removal will need another solvent.

CLP all the way.  I just tried the breakfree's powder blast and that seems to work very well.

I use the aresol can for cleaning. I use the bottle CLP or LP for lubing. It's thicker and stays in place better IMO . But nothing wrong with the CLP in the aresol can using as a lube. I just preferr the thick style . I use nothing but Breakfree for the last 22 years . Good stuff and does the intended job . WarDawg
