What is the best cleaning kit for a BOB? I know jointed rods can harm your bore. But pull throughs can't dislodge a stuck object. I would like to avoid having to have both. I am looking for what you would use if you were unsupported for a long period of time. (In other words you aren't going back somewhere in a few days to clean it) |

I would keep a USGI jointed rod cleaning kit in a BOB. It is lightweight, and doesn't take up much space. I keep one in my range bag for emergency use. If you are in a situation where you are using the cleaning kit that is in your BOB, maintaining benchrest accuracy should be the least of your worries. |
