i just did my first field strip,cleaning, and lube. it was fairly easy thanks to the help of that thread that explains everything....im just wondering if there is supposed to be a little play between the bolt and firing pin wen u put it back together...thats the only thing im worried about...

The AR15 has a "free-float" firing pin, the linear movement (play) is normal.
