Has anyone ever used or heard of a lead cloth for cleaning copper, lead & powder residues from you firearms? These impregnated clothes are for stainless and nickle plated guns only and will remove bluing in short order.

After shooting 200 rounds thru my CZ 75  SPO1 I cleaned the barrel as usual with brush, cotton patches & HOPPES 9. Then I cut a couple  patches from the lead clean cloth and ran'em down the barrel and it came out black! It did remove the orange copper strippes from the lands and the barrel appeared cleaner.
When done i use citrus degreaser to remove all traces of cleaners. The citrus works like Gun Scrubber but I get for free. It smells like oranges.
Wondering if any of you have experience with the LEAD-CLEAN CLOTH?

Thanks in Advance

I use it to clean the cylinder face of my stainless steel revolvers, works great! Abide by the warning label, do not use on blueing.  It'll remove the blueing!

I've always used rem cleaner (kind of like JB bore paste) to clean my lead covered shotgun.  100 rounds of slugs you need a drill, a new brush, patches, rem clean.

Pistols barrels no need for the drill.

Before GS knew better mercury was used to lift the lead off the metal.

I have used them.  They do work, but it takes quite a few on heavily leaded bores.
