| Has anyone used steam to clean out carbon in their AR's? The reason why I asked we used steam to clean our M9's in the USAF after a long day of firing out in the New Mexico desert. I think it wouldn't hurt as long as you thoroughly lubricated it afterwards. What's everyone's thought on this? |

Meh, I just tie the BCG to a string hanging from the inside of my toilet lid and flush 50 times, I have one of those chlorine tablets and all. Seriously, how lazy can we get? Take the time, break out the CLP and the brushes and the patches, and do it right. Some corners cannot be cut! |
What you use for a pressure washer? |
Pressure Flusher |
The same thing I use for necessary life functions and recreation |
| What's wrong with this idea? Other than the risk of rust from water vapor? It seems like a great way to get off the really havy buildup of gunk without having to spend the time soaking parts, or scrubbing them. Cheaper too. Tap water and a small amount of electricity is less than a bottle of Hoppes. Seems like it would blast dirt and gunk out of the little corners that you can't reach too. |

Exactly, especially when it comes to sand. |
I’m not going to re-hash this bullshit with you again, so I'll tell you right now.....Keep your personal insults to yourself. I disagree with your cleaning method and posted my argument against it along with documentation supporting it. So get over it. Oh and a word to the wise: Personal attacks and insults are the perfect way to get your account locked. So keep it up. |
