After a day at the range, I begin cleaning by spraying the chamber and everything else out with Break Free Powder Blaster. For stuff available locally, it works better than anything I can find, minimal cleaning is required after it. Will the powder blaster damage the non metal parts, TD Vert Grip, Hogue Pistol Grip, Magpul ladder rails etc. I say it isn't safe for use on plastic but I don't know what those items are made of. What does the cans label say regarding plastic parts? ETA: Sounds pretty safe to me. I’m sure BreakFree engineers take modern-day plastics into account when they develop these cleaners. With so much plastic and polymer being used in todays modern firearms, you almost can not avoid getting it on some type of plastic. ![]() Email BreakFree and ask. I’m curious to see what they say. www.break-free.com/?location=/products/index.asp |
