[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR Cleaning Stand

I have seen a stand that looks like it was custom made for an AR. It had a cradle for the barrel and a piece that comes up and sits in the mag well. It was made out of wood and looked pretty easy to build. Wanted to see if anyone knew where I could find some plans for something like this?

Yes, it was very similar to the design of that model.

Those are nice... chances are you could build one "on the cheap" with a few measurements taken from your rifle.

Hmmm.... sounds like a project for my days off. Unless the weather is good for shooting!

Williams, I think I remember the thread you're talking about and have looked for it but no joy. The only critical measurement you'd have to take would be the mag mounting stud. Shouldn't be too hard.
