Ok my Bushmaster XM15-E2S pistol grip uses and allen wrench. I want to replace the factory grip with a Hogue grip or something like that.

Will this screw work with any other grip I buy? If not where and what do I need to get?

Thanks! (Yea, I am a NOOB to ARs)

Insert screwdriver or correct size allen driver into pistol grip from the bottom. Remove screw.  That's literally it. And yes, the screw will work with the other grips.

ETA: Make sure you don't lose the spring or the detent when you remove the pistol grip. You'll need them when you put it back together.

The screw does actualy fit a Hogue grip that I put on my rifle.  I would just like to let you know that the spring was the only thing that fell out of my rifle.  If you keep your rifle fliped (your upper reciever down and your lower above) then you shouldn't really worry about the detent coming out.
