How do you guys use your chamber brushes? I went to use my chamber brush for the first time and it is super tight. I can barely get it in the chamber, let alone twist it around. How far is it supposed to go in? Is the larger bristle section supposed to get into the lugs? Are you using a standard cleaning rod?? |
A new brush will be hard at first to insert. Squirt some CLP into the chamber and insert the chamber brush until the larger metal brushes are inside of the lug area. A few twists should suffice. I have my chamber brush attached to a section of standard cleaning rod with a handle attached for easy turning. |
