Can any of you tell me if the "medium" length hand gaurd on the BM 15XM Patrolman model is two piece ? I assume you can take the HG off and install a replacement HG easily ??? I'm looking into a HG with rails for a light.

It looks like the 2 piece plastic. You can only change it to another handguard that use the same locking method, not a free float. You will have to take out the barrel and front sight to install a free float.

A cheap route is to add a rail to your HG for under 20 bucks
