Hi all...I finally have gotten around to getting all the good cleaning stuff for my AR...from Dewey rod, jags, VFG pellets, patches, Moly-Slide, CLP, Shooters choice, JB bore paste(for my Kriegers)etc. etc. to numerous chamber and bore brushes, Military M16 field gauge, bore guide...etc......tools....action blocks, punches...etc...etc.... and a selection of small parts spares for the range. I dropped some BANK!!! I was wondering if anyone had a good travel case recommendation for storage of all the stuff? ie...tackle box, etc. Something with compartments would be nice to separate out the small stuff. I would like to have a case big enough for everything but the Dewey rod so I can take it along on trips. I made a PVC case for that...Thanks...!

for a small kit I use firsherman small fly tackle cases. For the home box I used a 3 drawer Kobalt toolbox.

Dewy rods are stored in 1.5 inch PVC pipe with a screw cap on one end and a cap on the other to keep them clean and free from bending.

Sears; Craftsman is your friend. And it won't look like gun stuff.

I have a tackle box that has two slide out parts bins in front. One bin holds spare parts, the other holds cleaning supplies and tools. The top compartment holds larger tools and documents, manuals ect. I painted it with Krylon OD Green and it goes to the range with me each time. It also doubles as a nice rest for shooting supported prone.
