Anyone else use this stuff?

I finally purchased some. Seems like it leaves a great protective coating.

It's great for all around lubrication.  It reduces corrosion in black powder arms, can be used as an antiseptic, treats leather, is a great overall protectant, developed by Germay over 100 years ago, was what H&K recommended for their guns - just hard to beat all around.  I use FP-10 for most stuff and Shooters Choiice as a solvent, but Ballistol goes with me everywhere as an all purpose, use for almost anything.

Yeap I love the stuff.Been using the Ballistol for about four years now and have nothing but praise for it,particularly on the corrosive ammo and black powder guns.I use it to wipe down my C&R's,including the wood.Stuff works great,I even like the smell.
I use the Ballistol as an around the house and shop oil as well.
I buy it by the gallon and refill the 16oz. spray bottles.
That said,I do not think its as long lasting of an lube as the newer synthetics like Break Free and FP-10.But it does well enough.Especially since the Ballistol neutralizes acids and can disolve copper, although slowly. That gives it a performance advantage over the other and newer CLP's.
IMHO Ballistol

I love it.

It is always in my range box.  It is especially suited for black powder firearms.
