Picked up some of the "Gunslick" brand today, at the recommendation of a friend. I started thinking about the application (spray in barrel until foam comes out other end, let sit for approx 30 minutes, patch out), do you guys foresee a problem with this foam creeping into the gas tube? I have never used this stuff, so I don't know if it "gunks up" after it dries.

If this is going to be a possible problem, I will not use it on my AR's. I'll give it a whirl on my pistols and see how it does.

Do a search and you can read up on this cleaner.

In short the best foaming cleaner is Wipe Out. The Gun Slick/Outers is Forrest Foam made by Mil-Foam in Finland. Works ok. It will not gum up nor harm your gas system, it will clean the gas system in fact.

Get the Wipe Out brand it does the best job.
