Anyone have a slick way to really clean a muzzle crown with A2 "birdcage" flash hider on it? I don't want to remove the FH each time I clean my rifle, but it bugs me that the crown isn't as clean as I woud like.

If you have a lot of carbon build up, take a tooth pic and pick it off, followed by a q-tip with Hoppes or some CLP.

The carbon breaks off by itself.

soak it in some carbon cutter made by the folks that brought you salip 2000. then flush with brake cleaner non chlor type.
