I bought a complete RRA lower to use with an A-1 upper I already had.  IT funtions ok, but the trigger pull is awful. 8+ lbs and gritty. Is this normal, is there a fix short of sending it to a gunsmith? thanks,  Mike

Single stage or double stage ?
For the single stage JP springs for about $10 or $160ish from Accuracy Speaks
For Double stage ... no contest John Holliger at White Oak Precision  is THE answer

Is the single stage trigger standard on RRA lowers? Mine is long heavy and gritty, but I don't feel two distict stages. I am not very familiar with AR's, still learning, where do I find JP springs?  thanks,  Mike

New lower - should've said NM two - stage , if it didn't more than likely single . The JP springs are available from a few places .
I got mine from Brownells
When I swapped the springs out  , I left the milspec  disconnector  spring in ( didn't want any doubling issues ).

Order the spring kit directly from JP (about the same price as Brownells) and try the Rydol Boron Nitrate Grease  at the same time ($4.00) the stuff is great.

Unless you ordered the lower with the two stage match trigger,it will have the standard RR trigger in it.BIG price difference. As far as I know, will NOT say NM on it.My two stage is sweet from RR,but will probably send it to Whiteoak for some tuning after a few hundred rounds, anyway.
