the front pin on my bushy a2 20"er tends to "walk out" during the course of fire.  any ideas on what i can do?  the gun is stock.   i have not even taken the lower apart and i am lost as to why it is coming out.

Thanks for your help.

The front pin is the hammer pin, not the trigger pin. There is a differnce. This is quite common. There is a j hook inside the hammer where the pin slides through. This j hook holds onto the pin in a corresponding groove in the hammer pin. Either the pin has slid a bit or the j hook is bent, missing, sprung, whatever. Take it apart and see where it is. It is easily fixed.

Contact Bushmaster. See what they have, you might have to buy the complete hammer, but ASK.
