AR15.com rust tests are pretty brutal.  While providing insight into which CLPs have the best "P", they aren't really indicative of the way most of us maintain and store our rifles.  Call me a rebel, but after I clean my weapon, I've never felt a need to spray it down with saltwater spray before storing it.  The tests may have some value if you live in a humid coastal region, but if everything is reasonably climaticaly controlled, Strikehold, or darn near any other CLP, will protect just fine.  JMHO.

Carb and brake cleaner eat styrofoam like that also.
Dont know if this is a good advertisement or not.Made me think not.But thats my opinion.
Looks like a high solvent content to me.
I dont like aerosols much less aerosol solvents as Ive stated before.
Makes me wonder if there are concerns.
Think I will stick with what I have.
Thanks for the information though.
