what would i use the "jag tip" rod attachment for?????

You "stab" a cleaning patch and then push through the bore. After it exits, it pops off (sometimes you have to pop it off yourself).

same results as the pull attachment, or two different purposes?

with the jag you push a patch thru

you stab the patch in the middle
put some cleaning fluid on it
then push it thru the bore ( always from the breach if possable )
then push a dry one
so on and so forth till the bore is clean

I think they work better then a pull system or a loop
seems like the patch is pressed into the rifleing better
