bought a R/R Match Target and was told shoot once clean once for many rounds, to cure barrel.
then fire two rounds and then clean and so on. Whats the real deal on this curing process. If its real i'm all over it, but if its not necessary hhmmm. So please give me  the real rundown on the matter, THANKS!

It is called breaking it in, not curing it. Some say do it and some say it is a waste of time. You can find as many that advocate it and as many that say it is a waste of time. I have done it on some barrels and some I have not. Take your pick. My best advice is to shoot it and clean it, how often you want to clean it in between is up to you. I do know this for sure, you only have a set amount of life in the barrel.
