I have an AR that has been lightly lubed with gun oil. I recently aquired some BreakFreeCLP which I'll begin using. Are the any special preparations or precautions I need to be aware of when switching over to BreakFree? Thanks!

CLP doesn't take well being mixed with other lubes. It tends to gum up... Strip off all the old lubricant with GunScrubber or brake cleaner and start fresh with the CLP.

If you do not have the chemicals mentioned you can also use 91% isopropyl alcohol to wipe the parts down with before applying the Break free. Raymond
