What is the proper way to disassemble an AR mag? Do I have to bend the tabs up to remove the floor plate? I would like to pull all mine apart to clean and inspect them but do not want to do any damage.

[b]DO NOT BEND THE TABS[/b]!!! Just lift up the leading edge of the floorplate up enough to clear the catches and slide out.
You could not have answered my question any better than that and thanks for the quick reply. Since you know so damn much do you possibly know where the green followers that everyone speaks so highly of, could be purchased from?

For green followers, look here in the Equipment Exchange under AR15 Magazines. Also, Ebay and Gun Shows. Online: Tapco, Cheaper Than Dirt, lots of places.
