Ive got a .22lr AR and for some reason, when I put a mag in and close the bolt using the bad lever, the bolt isn't pushing the round in all the way, so im having to pull the charging handle back a bit, push the round in with my finger then let the handle go then it will shoot every round in the mag, its just that first round that wont go in all the way, can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it please.

Replace your recoil spring, it's probably a bit weak.

Would help to know which 22lr bolt kit in play, but chances are the bolt rail and even bolt channels just need to be polished  bit so the bolt will glide on the rails instead of binding/grabbing instead.

Also, depending on the bolt kit once polished, may have to install a weaker hammer spring/polish it the bottom of the bolt  if the hammer is binding up the bolt from moving freely on the rails as well.

To add, take a good look at the ramp, since from time to time, they needed to polished (and even the mag lips tweaked as well)

So on that note, post a photo of the 22lr kit you have, which mags you are using, and should be able to walk you through any polishing or tweaking needed to get the rig to run correctly.
