Right after I got my PSA ar15 I took it to the range with some XM193 I had purchased. After I had it sighted in I was able to shoot almost exactly where I wanted at 100yds fairly quickly and accurately. I set up 5 clothes pens that I brought from home on top of the target I posted and was able to shoot all 5 with the first shot in under 10 seconds. I wanted to be able to reduce muzzle rise and drift so I put on a muzzle break that was highly rated on amazon and my groups seem to have opened up fairly dramatically. Can a muzzle break make your gun less accurate? If yes then what is a good muzzle break that will not effect the accuracy of my rounds down range.

I also built myself a 308 from all PSA parts and put the same muzzle break but for a 30 caliber bullet and was wondering if I am making the gun less accurate from the muzzle break

yes, a brake can adversely affect the rifle's ability to group, and as far as the 2nd part of your post is concerned, the brake affects the barrel harmonics so it is a balancing act between ammo selection and brake design.  if the rifle is shooting extremely well, start with as small and light a brake as possible and be very careful when securing the brake to the barrel. use a  proper washer and do not overtighten it, follow torque spec. unfortunately, sometimes finding just the right brake to try to restore the rifle's pinpoint accuracy can result in a toolbox full of brakes that didn't make the cut. good luck.

Changing a muzzle device can change barrel harmonics, but this usually results in a change of POI, not group size.  Most likely your barrel threads are not coaxial to the bore, or the brake threads are not coaxial to the bore of the brake, or both.  There is a reason quality barrels and muzzle devices are expensive.  You can check this by inserting a cleaning rod from the breech end of the barrel (never insert a rod from the muzzle end, never!) and watch where it exits the brake.  There should be a even gap around the rod.  Standard A2 flash suppressors are over-bored and tapered to compensate for offset barrel threads.

I appreciate the help, it looks like I will not have a muzzle break on my rifle for the foreseeable future unless I decide to go on a shopping spree to find the perfect one.

Standard AR does not have a lot of recoil to speak of, and the felt recoil is really just the B/C moving back and forth instead.

So when talking about recuperating mass, the lighter the rifle, the more you will feel it.
Same does for the heaver the buffer, the more your going to feel it as well.  Hence a stronger recoil spring, and less buffer mass ends up with less felt recoil.

So recoil wise, standard FS works great, and if you need to take the recoil (muzzle movement), then just adding weight to the rifle will do the trick.
