Hello guys, I've searched and no one really has the answer I am looking for.
But my trigger I am wondering should the tail end of it be sitting lower than the fire selector hole? because currently my trigger sits alittle high inside and its blocking the fire selector hole by a bit.

is your pistol grip screw in to far ? if the pistol grip screw goes in to far it will push up on the trigger

That's normal.

Cock the hammer and the trigger tail will drop below the selector hole. Insert selector. Sometimes it takes a bit of wiggling things around and sometimes it's easier if you remove the trigger pin.

The notch in the selector is so the trigger tail will raise up far enough to release the hammer in the fire position. When in the safe position the tail hits on the round barrel portion of the selector and the trigger won't release the hammer.

Sometimes I find it easier to drop the trigger in place, install the selector, insert the trigger pin and the install the hammer.

What the guy above me said. Happened to me on my first build and I had to take the trigger pin out and then put the selector in. I was about to do something foolish but was saved by arfcom knowledge....

You should end up with a nice fitting trigger, not much creep.

As said above, the bottom of that hammer has a oblong lob and when the hammer is in the uncocked postion, it prevents the selector to be able to set to safe.

As for the lower FCG install, find is easier to install the trigger with disco, then the selector, then the pistol grip with selector detent and spring, leaving the hammer with hammer spring for last.
