My bolt catch is getting chewed up by the lugs on the bolt face. Catch is a cmmg. Is the damage due to a poor quality mag catch or to much force from the bolt. Would you just monitor, replace the catch, or add a heavy buffer?

Round count is only a few hundred.

Sorry about the pics. Any help is welcomed.

The bad lever type thing causes the catch to flop around when firing and runs into the BCG.

Yet another reason to avoid them.....

Thanks for all the replies. BAD lever is gone.

I think i am going to  sand and paint damaged areas and monitor for any additional wear the catch is still functional.
