one of my AR's is having issues with the bolt catch not catching consistently when the last round is fired from the magazine....

It's a noveske' upper, well maintained and cleaned, and I use 10rd Pmags...

any feedback on how to fix or remedy this situation?

Could be the magazines. How many different ones are you using? It could be one bad mag.

I would mark your mags and start keeping track, also - try a few different mags and see if that clears it up.

Will do, I'm going to pick up a few metal magazines and give it a go.

Tough to get any sort of magazines around my area these days...  FUAC!

How old is the gun? Specs? What type of ammo are you using? Steel cased?

I had a Magpul BAD lever cause a problem like this. If you're using one try taking it off.

Just my .02

I had a similar issue with one of mine. 16" RRA upper carbine length gas system.
At the time of the issue I was running an H2 buffer, I switched to a H buffer and it stopped the problem. I did have a BAD lever as well, but removing it made no noticeable difference.

So it just magically fixed itself?

on this weapon yes, the other one was the culprit previously.  I was very sure to load the magazines and bang the ammo back to line up, ran the weapon as hot as possible and tried to create issues but none arose.  I only had about one hour so the other ar goes this week.
