I'm semi-new to the AR rifle.....Have about 1200 rounds through my 16" mid-length with not a single issue, when I charge the rifle I always pull the charging handle to the rear and let it fly home or hit the bolt release. Well I was trying to slowly charge the rifle by riding the charging handle in and EVERY time the round gets hung up on the feed ramps (psa upper with m4 ramps) and I have to push the forward assist to get the round to chamber. Any Ideas? or should I just forget about trying to quietly charge the rifle and let the bolt slam home?
I can take pictures but it would be on my Iphone so the angles wouldn't be the best

You're supposed to let it fly....  Riding the handle will give you the problems you describe almost every time.
