Hey Guys I bought 12 stripped Lowers ( New Froniter Polymer )   and I got my Upper From Black Throne Product and my Lower Part kits.  I put together one and I went out to test it and I first Seen that  it was not loading a casing from a metal mag so I dropped it and put a Magpul mag and It loaded but it seem to jam at first but went in with a little playing .  So I pulled the Trigger and it fired and I went to pull the trigger again and it was nothing so I had to pull the trigger back forward and then pulled the trigger again and it fired.  So does any one know why im having to pull the trigger forward after each shot.

Besides the Metal mag and the little bit of jamming at first and the Trigger problem its works Fine.

So Please any help is Great

Thanks
Robert

Yep, first post applies if I'm reading your post right.

Review how you put your trigger group together and installed.

Check the Build It Yourself section here under AR15 to see if you are doing it right

Many of the vendors here can help you out.

Look up in the header advertisers for Brownells.  Not always the cheapest but for a new guy they have a pretty easy site to find things.  Especially if you are just looking for a single spring or other part. You may consider buying some other spare parts at the same time to make the shipping worthwhile.

Gas rings (3 at once) for the bolt, lube, and they make full replacement spring kits and such.  All those things are pretty cheap and will get used at some point in the future!

Sounds like the trigger is not resetting forward after you release the trigger.

If setting the selector to safe, then back to fire resets the trigger, then you need to reinstall the FCG.

When doing this, make sure to lube the parts before installing them, especially the pins to the trigger and hammer channels.   Also, before dropping the parts back in, run your finger nail down the disco and back of hammer sears.  If you find edge burs, then use a fine stone and remove the burs without dulling the sear edges.

Ok Guys I got home and I looked at the Lower and it was All installed Right.  ( But Im not sure if this may be the problem.  Im using a Full Auto Selector , Hammer and the Disconnector  )
So I built a new lower and used a DPMS lower part kit and Im going to see how this works.  Im going to try to shoot a few tomorrow but not sure.

I do thank everyone for the Help.

I know Im a newbie to AR's but I have always built ( Car and Trucks and ATV ) and that way I know how it works and how to work on it. So I know I have a big learning curve in front of me.

Unless this is a RR, or using a Rdias/Rll, get the full auto parts out of the semi receiver.
