How do you reinstall the extractor spring and insert so it is flush. All I did was take it out and now when I try to put it back in it goes in crooked. The bottom of the spring jumps a coil which also adds to the difficulty of installing straight. |

Update I installed it straight finally with pliers and a napkin to avoid damaging the bcg. I hope I did not cause premature wear on the extractor spring though causing it to loose tension compressing it so much with the pliers.(it took me multiple tries to install, compressing it with pliers) |

Per the TM:
"Insert large end of extractor spring assembly into cartridge extractor and seat by pushing and turning clockwise." http://www.ar15.com/content/manuals/TM9-1005-319-23.pdf |

Thanks for the link. I tried doing that as well. But it is easier said than done with such a tiny part. Quoted: Per the TM: "Insert large end of extractor spring assembly into cartridge extractor and seat by pushing and turning clockwise." http://www.ar15.com/content/manuals/TM9-1005-319-23.pdf |
