During the firing of my weapon one of my bullets got lodged above my bolt carrier and up against the gas tube(it was quite hard to get out!). It only happened once but what would cause this?
I have a spikes upper, lower, and bolt carrier. I was shooting 62gr ati ammo. |

Mag problem alone, and chances are either the mag spring is weak, the follower binding up against the inside of the body, the mag feed lips cracked or bent open, or just a bad clone mag to begin with. The quick solution is to just buy new USGI mags to begin with if you have not and trying to use clone mags now, and not only to pull them down and CLP clean them from the beginning/new, but often as well. If you check the the EE section, brand new USGI mags can be found for around $10 each. |

+1 on the Mags being the issue. I might add that Magpul mags work really well. I know alot of people are die hard USGI, but if you drop the mags alot, the poly tends to hold up better.
Also, just because a mag is new means nothing. There are alot of subpar mags on the market. |
