hey guys have a RRA lar-15 entry with 20". Its a flat top and I have a 3x9x40 cheap bushnell. I shoot it very regularly but Im not the best shot. I use xm-193 and hand loads. If I were a good shooter what should this rifle group at 200 yards. Its a 1in 9 and is not free float. I can group awesome at 100 yrds, but it opens up to almost 3 in at 200 yards. Is this acceptable or do I suck. Thanks.

3" at 200 yards is 1.5 MOA, which is pretty good for M193.

What do think the gun could do at 200yds with really good ammo. Some nice hornady or something match, assuming I did my part. Thanks

You might want to consider a free float rail ... not that a free float adds any accuracy but it will eliminate anything (slings, bipods and bench rests) from applying pressure on the barrel and taking accuracy away. Also I shoot the Hornady 223 REM 55G V-Max through a Bushmaster 20" 1/9 chrome moly barrel and have gotten some down right awesome results with it.

cool gator. Do they make a smooth two piece free float tube. I need one that does not require the front iron sight to be removed. I found a few but they are all the picatinny rail style and I dont need all that. Thanks

I don't think so .... there are quite a few two piece drop in quad rails but I can't remember ever seeing a "smooth" one.
