I have read all of the FAQ, and everything else in the troubleshooting section before posting. I took my bushmaster to the range and after about 20 rounds it started the FTF. Also the bolt would not lock to the rear on a empty mag. When it was a stock rifle I had no problems. This is the first time it has been shot since the upgrades I made to it.I was using 5 different brands of ammo, with a new Pmag. I only grabbed one because I was in a hurry. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

UBR stock with buffer and spring (came with stock)
Troy rail, flip up front and rear sights
Magpul grip
YHM low profile gas block
LT scope base
Leo AR scope

Gas block could be on the barrel wrong to cause a blockage between the barrel gas port to the block  gas passage, or even the block loose on the barrel causing a major leak as well.

Gas tube end could now be out of alignment with the key.

Barrel extension could be rotated in the upper barre socket so the bolt lugs no longer cleanly enter and exit the barrel lugs correctly.

Recoil spring length, or even buffer length could be the wrong sizes for the new barrel extension void.

Upper receiver could have been twisted or crushed inwards, and now the carrier no longer moves freely in the upper receiver.

And/or, you could have a loose gas key on the carrier.

Oh right thanks for the advise.

ETA: It must be a bad mag. I tried using a couple of GI mags and it shot fine.

Good job... find the simplest solution by process of elimination before you start tearing apart your rifle. Nice looking firearm BTW.

Out the gate, until you can get the rifle full stroking (bolt locking back on the last round out, and the ejection distances of the spent case around 10' to 15' out, short stroking is the problem, and swapping mags is just going to be less than fruitful to solving such.
