| I've less than 300 rds through this rifle since new. Today at the range on rd. #45 just a click on trigger squeeze. Misfire! Nope. Further inspection reveals a broken hammer pin. Has anyone had this happen? Looks like it broke in two equal length piece. Any ideas what would cause this? |
| They can break like this where the groove is cut, but after only a few hundred rounds it ridiculous - call the manufacturer and see what they can do for you. The problem can be significantly worse with blowback guns (9mm, .22LR etc.) than with gas guns. If the manufacturer won't send one for free, a replacement GI pin is only a few bucks. If the problem persists, you can look at the pins made by JP or KNS as a tougher option. |

Photo of the back of there trigger with the disco installed is needed.
Best guess is that either the hammer is wedging with the tail too long, or you have too weak of a hammer or recoil spring installed, and the hammer tail it just clubbing the hell out of the trigger to break the pin as the hammer is being slung back way, way too fast. |
