I have a Bushmaster barrel with the M4 profile. I bought a YHM Specter rail which required a low profile gas block. Naturally I bought a YHM gas block as well. Here are pictures of both:

My question is this: What gas block do I use in order to use a TROY MRF rail as a handguard? I've tried to install the TROY today and the gas block mentioned above is too wide. Troy handguard

Try the PRI micro gas block, VLTOR gas block, Daniel Defense, or YHM micro gas blocks. I do not have any TROY forends but all of those have fit under my DD forends. I even have a .936 PRI micro GB under a DD Light rail on my .458 SOCOM and while a very close fit, it does fit without touching the handguard.
These are the ones I feel pretty good about fitting your TROY but make sure you get the correct diameter for your barrel: PRI YHM VLTOR DD |
